Turning over 220K in his first three months of business, Richard Taylor, The London Bath Co.’s newest franchisee is on course to exceed a £1 million turnover in his first year almost doubling expectations and forecasts.
Having only recently opened the doors to his stunning new showroom in the lucrative Blackheath Village area near Greenwich in South East London, Richard saw an instant demand for the companies fully fitted luxury bathrooms from local residents.
“I was amazed how quickly business took off and was really surprised by the interest from passers-by as the shop was being fitted out. It’s great fun designing and selling luxury bathrooms and I really don’t miss fitting them! “. Says Richard, a former bathroom installer.
“My previous experience is really useful as I understand the technical aspects of what we do which helps me with the design but with the companies comprehensive training and ongoing support program I’m confident that anyone with a flair for design and an eye for detail could quickly pick it up.
There is definitely a demand for our product, and The London Bath Co. approach offering full design and comprehensive installation at a fixed fully inclusive price makes it a unique concept. The idea of buying a bathroom as a complete item fully fitted and ready to use was completely new to me when I researched the market.
I looked at other opportunities, but they seemed to mainly focus on the retail of the equipment and not the design and installation element which is what my clients are really looking for”.
With the company’s continuing guidance and support Richard is now in the process of recruiting a showroom designer to man the showroom and help with client consultations whilst he is busy in the field prospecting new clients. “We actually gain a lot of our business from the Internet.
The London Bath Co. have an extensive team of sales and marketing professionals and experts to look after all aspects of my company’s promotion. I really have no clue how online advertising works especially Google but they take care of all this and It’s really cost effective as they are marketing for the whole business. They even look after the social media side of things regularly posting interesting snippets for our followers. It’s incredibly helpful and allows me to concentrate on generating sales.
